Old Realms, New Roads

Two lantern-carrying explorers discover a vast underground city of ancient arches and bridges.

An old dungeon is more than a collection of rooms. It is the guard who challenges you, the strange weapon in a chest, and the doorway that only opens when you know its trick.

Much of the July 27–September 28 work focused on bringing Realms of Luminari content into the current game while preserving those details. Shops, quests, monster behavior, traps, travel routes, and unusual item powers all received attention.

Keep the character of the place

Equipment needed more than a fresh coat of paint. Bows, crossbows, ammunition, quivers, armor, and unusual wear slots were checked against the game’s current rules. Development playthroughs tested converted archers firing and reloading, and characters actually using the resulting gear.

Creature behavior also received another pass, from guild guards to elaborate encounters. New spell implementations and selected class spell assignments were reviewed alongside the conversion; an imported spell name alone does not mean every class can cast it.

World and quest checks help builders catch broken connections before they become a player’s dead end. The latest conversion rehearsal also tested applying the content twice and restoring the previous world safely.

The newest complete conversion passed its September development rehearsal. Applying that accepted bundle to a lasting game world is a separate release step. This is progress toward more adventures, not a claim that every converted area is open today.
