Perks That Pull Their Weight
A perk you can buy but never use is a small betrayal. Work in August and September 2026 went looking for those broken promises in the mastery trees.
Every tree on the map
The perk list now names every tree. Paladin, Bard, Alchemist, Psionicist, Blackguard, and Inquisitor trees were missing entirely, and Monk and Ranger appeared under the wrong names. Four prerequisites were repaired. Extended Spell III now requires its lower ranks. Domain Focus III, Divine Spell Power III, and Greater Turning, along with the Divine Channeler and Master of the Undead capstones behind them, can finally be bought.
Switches that switch
Toggleable perks did not actually turn on. They do now: Defensive Stance applies its damage reduction and its penalty, and the Alchemist's unstablemutagen, universalmutagen, and volatilecatalyst commands work.
The Wizard's spellrecall used to spend its daily use and do nothing. It now finishes one spell you are preparing, or restores a spell slot for spontaneous casters.
Fixes around the classes
An August batch made Eidolon evolution magic at-will and allowed Rogues to use composite shortbows. You can now abort a spell mid-cast and quit while paralyzed. Random encounters no longer start in peaceful rooms. Boon Companion applies properly, and high-circle swarm summons scale with the spell.
Perks only matter on servers that turn the perk system on. The August fixes and the Spell Recall repair are in the game build recorded as running in production in August 2026. The perk-list, prerequisite, and toggle repairs followed in September and are in development.
