The Builder's Bench
Every dungeon you enjoy was assembled one room and one creature at a time. Builders received a sturdier workbench between late 2025 and September 2026.
In the editors
- medit, oedit, and redit gained a Z) SpecProc menu that lists the special procedures safe for each prototype, explains them, and saves the choice to the world file. The staff command
specbindshows what is attached. - medit's T) Tier setting classifies a creature from Standard through Elite, Small Group, Big Group, and Raid to World Boss. Each tier scales hit points and combat bonuses.
- Shops can sell items for account experience, and staff can inspect stores with
shoplistandshopstat. - Missions and hunts now spawn only in zones marked open.
Quests and scripts
Quests gained three objective types: resolve a creature without killing it, succeed at an ability check, and witness a phenomenon. The mobile damage script trigger was repaired and documented. Two zone reset commands were restored, and an unfinished one was removed.
Maps and manuals
The wilderness editor is a staff-only browser tool for drawing regions, paths, and landmarks. It also writes the region descriptions and hints that feed the Narrative Weaver, and any AI-drafted text waits for review before it is saved. It is still pre-release.
The game's source repository gained guides for getting started as a builder and for the zone, shop, and quest file formats. The wiki also has a building overview.
The specproc menus, encounter tiers, account-experience shops, and zone flags are in the game build recorded as running in production in August 2026. The new quest objectives and the zone-reset repair followed in September and are in development.
